- Hi All,
-
- I bought an Apollo 3040 for my A3000T this week and the card works
- absolutely fine for one thing. I can't use Enforcer/VirtualMemory.
- Now don't tell me that I don't have an MMU because its there. The problem is
- quite different.
- When I start enforcer (latest 37.62 from Aminet) then I can't do *ANY* SCSI IO
- any more. No drive access and the whole system hangs.
- Starting Lawbreaker from ram: works fine and enforcer nicely reports all
- actions.
-
- It looks like the way the Apollo board manages scsi.device (it patches
- around a bug) is broken somehow. Anyone having any experience with this problem
-
- Config:
- A3000T 12Mb static column FAST
- 2Mb CHIP
- Kickstart 40.68, WB 40.42
- 16Mb of local RAM for the card
- No SCSI drives on the card.
- A2065
- MerlinII with ProbenchV2
- Apollo 3040@40Mhz with ROM in socket and SCSI in socket with the correct
- pin (9 instead of 8)
- I have removed my A2065 and Merlin and the local 16M RAM but that doesn't
- help, starting without startup-sequence doesn't help either.
-
- Thanks for any help (like developer e-mail?),
-
